Melanie is actively pursuing legit singing gigs in NYC or the greater NYC metro area Connecticut, Long Island, Philly and Jersey.

She is looking to perform at open mike nights, cabaret style shows or any singing gigs at any venue. Paying jobs would be best, but unpaid will work!

She is looking to book as many jobs as possible. Do you know a band that needs a "fill in" singer here and there? A club that's looking for a vocalist? Open mike nights? LET MELANIE KNOW! Know someone who is getting married and wants a vocalist at the church?  Pre-teen or Teenager looking for their own "concert" for a birthday party? Hear of a label or musicians looking for demo, background or session singers? Even karaoke contests will work!

Melanie wants the extra experience and more exposure...and if it's a paying job...the extra money would be nice! At this time, Melanie use background tracks for performances, because she does not yet have a band. She has original songs as well as a whole repertoire of cover songs to perform, from Disney to Broadway, to Pop/R & B and Rock...from the 60's right up to the present.  Melanie has the connections to a guitar or keyboard player if a more "intimate" and "acoustic" sound is needed for a gig.  She also has a portable sound system available. Just let her know what you need!

She had a weekly gig at The Blue Room on 2nd Ave for quite sometime. She has appeared/performed at The Apollo, on MTV, CBGB's, as well as the O.W. Bar, Five Points - Chinatown, Danny's Skylight Room, Blue Mahoe, The Bitter End and The Duplex Theater right here in NYC. Melanie has made guest appearances with the cover band Screaming Nudes in NY, NJ, and CT.  In June of this year she recorded a parody single and it made it's nationwide debut  on WTIC- FM in Hartford, CT and quickly made it's way from coast to coast. Melanie is fully studio experienced. She does well with harmonies, as well as background and lead vocals.
