Melanie is an award winning singer/songwriter. The CT Idol and first place Amateur Night at the Apollo winner, Melanie has a five octave range and 12 years studio experience. Some of her originals and parodies including "Married Ladies" and "Paris' Sweet Escape" received nationwide airplay on CBS radio/Sirius. She's performed at world-famous BBKings, The Apollo, Camden Yards, CBGB's and The Bitter End. She's done demo-work for many producers and studios in NYC and LA, including Darkchild Studios, Skyelab Studios and Pras of the Fugees. Melanie's appeared on Say What Karaoke, TRL, Love Monkey, The Flight of the Conchords and Rescue Me. Her writing abilities transcend genres and have gained her many diverse fans world wide, so please do stick around for more Melanie awesomeness!
